From pizza to burgers: What Chick-fil-A’s spinoff restaurants have on their menus

Since its beginning in 1967 in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Shopping Center, Chick-fil-A has become one of the largest fast food restaurant chains in America. The chain now has more than 3,000 locations throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.

According to The Christian Post, restaurant chain has also launched a number of affiliated restaurants with offerings that don’t appear on the standard Chick-fil-A menu.

Here are a few examples of what those restaurants offer.

The Dwarf House in Hapeville, Georgia is the location where Truett Cathy first created the now famous chicken sandwich for which Chick-fil-A is known. The Dwarf House locations offer the classic Chick-fil-A menu along with items like fried okra, green beans, cornbread, chicken salad and a sweet potato soufflé.

In 2021, Chick-fil-A opened the Little Blue Menu in Nashville, Tennessee, first as a virtual restaurant and then as a food truck which has since expanded to Athens, Georgia and College Park, Maryland. The Little Blue Menu includes pizzas, burgers, chicken wings, onion rings, sweet potato tots and Brussels sprouts.

Chick-fil-A also operates three 1950s-themed diners in Georgia called Truett’s Grill. According to Eat This! Not That!, Truett’s Grill offers Southern favorites including sweet potato soufflé, fried okra, crispy Brussels sprouts and cornbread.

The chain has also opened Truett’s Luau which features Hawaiian dishes with a Southern spin.

According to the Clayton-News Daily, a Chick-fil-A manager stated, “This specialty menu consists of everything from Island Chicken Salad sandwiches and I’a Makana Tacos to a Frosted Pineapple drink and Lava Cake.”
