Christian-owned In-N-Out Burger moves headquarters back to Baldwin Park, expands in Tennessee
February 19, 2025
The Christian-owned fast food chain In-N-Out Burger has announced that it will close its corporate headquarters in Irvine, California and relocate to Baldwin Park, CA where it was originally founded.
The Christian Post reports that the fast food giant, owned by Christian businesswoman Lynsi Snyder, will also be expanding into new markets by opening a new eastern territory headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.
According to the Tennessean, the burger chain will close its Irvine office by 2029 and develop a large corporate office in Franklin, TN to facilitate expansion into the eastern U.S.
In a statement, Snyder said, “In every decision about the future of In-N-Out Burger, I give strong consideration to what my grandparents and my family would think is best for our company,” she also explained, “Some of our associates will be relocating to Tennessee, which makes it even more important to centralize our western headquarters in one location, and our company’s deepest roots are in Baldwin Park. Our West Coast family will be together in one place, where In-N-Out Burger began.”
California’s high taxation and aggressive regulatory policies have prompted many businesses to seek more business-friendly states with lower taxes, few regulations and better quality of life for employees.
Founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-N-Out has grown to 400 locations across 8 states, including California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado and Idaho.
According to the Christian Post, the company has long incorporated Christian values into its branding, including Bible verses and references printed on food packaging, cups and containers.
