BACHELOR Alum Urges Christians to ‘Fight to Be Irrelevant’

Former “The Bachelor” alum Madison Prewett Troutt, now a Christian speaker, author and host of the “Stay True” podcast, is challenging her listeners to trade the chase for attention for a life of quiet service.

Movieguide reports that Troutt told her fans during a recent episode, “I want you to fight to be irrelevant because so many people are fighting to be relevant.”

Troutt explained that the desire to be noticed can quietly reshape Christian service, especially in a culture built around visibility, influence and personal branding.

Troutt said she and her husband Grant have been trying to serve locally, in places where they are not noticed, praised or recognized, and where public attention is not the reward.

She urged her listeners to live faithfully in the season they already occupy instead of treating life as a holding pattern, reminding them, “You have been picked by God. You are in the game right now.”

According to Movieguide, Troutt noted that social media can move quickly from contentment to discontentment and also warned that spiritual comparison can happen inside churches, ministries and small groups.

Troutt counseled her audience to stop measuring faithfulness by visibility, to listen closely and use the gifts God has given you to serve other people.
