Pro-lifers visit millions of homes in battleground states ahead of midterms

A leading U.S. pro-life grassroots organization says it’s canvassers have visited millions of home in swing states ahead of November’s midterm elections, seeking to shape abortion policy at both the state and federal levels.
The Christian Post reports that Susan B. Anthony (SBA) Pro-Life America announced Tuesday that it and its partner organization, Women Speak Out PAC, have visited 3 million homes in battleground states and districts expected to decide control of the U.S. Congress and key gubernatorial races.
SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser explained, “Every day, our canvassers are having meaningful face-to-face conversations exposing Democrats’ stance and convincing voters to cast their votes against candidates who endorse abortion in the seventh, eighth and ninth months.”
“The Democrats are no longer the party of safe, legal and rare — they have a national agenda for abortion at any point, everywhere. Through our voter outreach, we are making sure their abortion extremism costs the Left on Election Day,” Dannenfelser added.
According to the Christian Post, student canvassers from more than 100 colleges and universities participated in the effort, with young activists making 1.4 million home visits.
SBA Pro-Life America said last year that it planned to spend $80 million on pro-life candidates in the 2026 elections and target 10.5 million pro-life voters across the U.S. through canvassing, digital advertising, voter contact mail and an early vote campaign.
SBA Pro-Life America’s outreach is concentrated in Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Montana, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
All of those states except Montana and North Carolina will elect governors this year, and all except Wisconsin have a U.S. Senate race.
The group is still aiming to reach 10.5 million voters before Election Day on Nov. 3.
