Dad Speaks about the Miracle of Finding His Missing Son after 22 Hours

The father of a four year old boy who went missing for 22 hours near Huntington Lake near Fresno, California is speaking out about the miraculous events that led to his son being found.

Crosswalk reports that 4 year old Cristian Ramirez became separated from his parents during a family outing on June 20th.

The boy’s father Renato Ramirez recounted how more than 50 deputies and volunteers searched for Cristian for 22 hours before the boy was located and reunited with his parents.

Renato recalls, “That was the best day of my life to get my little boy back. And for him to be able to hug us back, it really was the best thing I could have ever imagined.”

In a Facebook post, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office wrote that: “Members of the Tulare County Search and Rescue Team found 4 year old Cristian Ramirez. He was about a quarter mile away from where he reportedly disappeared. Cristian is in good condition, he was just tired and hungry. There were no suspicious circumstances in this case.”

Cristian’s father, in a video from NBC-LA said, “We are just very grateful to the Tulare and Fresno County Search and Recuse teams and to the Fresno County Sheriffs for really all the support and the effort. We were witnesses to a modern-day 2024 miracle, and miracles do happen.”
