Ramaswamy Drops Out Of Race, Endorses Trump

Following a decisive victory from Donald Trump in the Iowa Caucus, GOP hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy has dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.

According to OAN, the entrepreneur suspended his campaign and threw his support behind Trump after Ramaswamy’s disappointing showing in Iowa.

NPR reports that Trump won by the largest margin in Iowa Caucus history, beating Ron DeSantis by 30 points and missing a clean sweep of all 99 of Iowa’s counties by a single vote. Johnson County went to Nikki Haley who placed third overall in the contest.

Ramaswamy finished with less than 8% of the vote in the Iowa Caucus. GOP attention will now shift to the New Hampshire Primary which takes place on Jan 23.
